Market Summary:
Fort Lee serves as the focal point for Army Logistics and provides support to U.S. Army Joint and Coalition operations around the world. It is home of the Combined Arms Support Command, U.S. Army Garrison, Army Logistics College, Quartermaster Center and School, and the headquarters for the Defense Commissary Agency.
Market Demographics:
It is home for nearly 3,200 military personnel and equally as many Families’ members, 600 single Soldiers and 2,300 Families off post. Most of the students attend one of nine Advance Individual Training (AIT) courses here at the Quartermaster Center and School (QMC&S). However, officers, warrant officers, non-commissioned officers and civilians also attend classes at the QMC&S and the Army Logistics Management College (ALMC). Students are also enrolled in the distance learning courses offered through ALMC and the post trains more than 35,000 students annually. Our Military Community serves a population of over 40,000. Purchase a Home
Financial Freedom comes from having cash flow to do what you want, when you want. Owning a home is one of the surest ways to build wealth. You may want to consider using your BAH to invest in yourself through home-ownership. Both officers and enlisted personnel have used this approach to reduce their tax burden, provide a house for their family, increase their net worth and choose where they would like to live rather than being told "where to live."
